Neptune, named after the Roman god of the sea, is often associated with mysticism, illusion, and transcendence. In astrology, it is considered the planet of dreams, spirituality, and creativity. Its influence is believed to encourage empathy, intuition, and a deeper connection to the subconscious.

Another side of Neptune, is that under its influence, nothing appears as it is.

For around two years, Saturn has been in Pisces, with Neptune, and now we have to face our own false assumptions and the harsh reality of whatever house Pisces represents in our charts.

The first picture is Neptune how we thought it was, the edited version with extra contrast, and the second picture is Neptune’s true color without editing and as we perceive it with the naked eye.

Saturn has managed to wake us up – at least those of us that are a bit more Saturnian and science oriented – to the fact that the true color of Neptune – the deep dark blue – is really just a contrast adjustment of a picture taken by Voyager 2 in the 80s. The true color of Neptune is light blue, looking more like Uranus. This is not so strange: the planets have similar sizes and similar compositions.

In astrology, they are both awakeners, Uranus at the group and societal level, and Neptune to the collective subconscious and also personal subconscious level.

Neptune is now showing its true face and it means that we see people for who they really are more clearly nowadays.
