The Mars-Uranus conjunction is an astrological event that occurs when the planets Mars and Uranus appear very close together in the night sky. This alignment is believed to bring about a surge of energy, innovation, and potential for disruption.
Recent Conjunction (July 15th, 2024)
The most recent Mars-Uranus conjunction occurred on July 15th, 2024. Weeks and months before this conjunction – many astrologers were talking about the correlation to the demon star Algol – and the possible assassination of Trump. Some were very specific, claiming that something would happen to him in a public place.
After the the event took place, there were discussion as to why he survived. Some meant it was Jupiter in Gemini, others claimed it was Venus in Leo, while others claimed that it was the star Regulus who protected him. This time, astrologers were not able to agree as to why.
This is a question that astrologers might not be used to answer. Catastrophic events are usually easier to predict compared to the reason why some people are incredibly lucky. In fact, this event has benefited Trump enormously. But sure, there might be psychological effects from this near death experience.
What it Means
Looking at the political landscape, I saw people being more infuriated and angry, often turning on bullies, and not having it anymore. Tired of keeping composure they were impulsive not thinking about consequences, how they appeared to the world and they just bursted out whatever they felt was necessary to say.
Energy Surge: Mars, the planet of action and assertion, fuels Uranus’ desire for change and rebellion. This can lead to a burst of creative energy and a push for innovation.
Disruption: The unpredictable nature of Uranus combined with Mars’ drive can cause sudden shifts and disruptions. This could manifest in social movements, technological advancements, or even natural disasters (depending on the astrological interpretation).
Individuality: Both Mars and Uranus are associated with individuality and independence. This alignment could emphasize personal expression and a challenge to the status quo.
Is astrology science or just faith?
Whenever you read something about astrology by scientists they make it look as if stars and planets where simply acribed certain qualities out of the blue, of people’s imagination.
But that is not the truth. Astrology was developed by watching the stars and comparing the sitution in the heavens with events on earth.
Imagine you look for a whole year daily at the sky and you see all kinds of clouds and wind situations. And soon enough you will learn how to correlate that to the weather that day or in the upcoming days. If it is cloudy there is a great chance that it will rain. The blacker the clouds that bigger the chance there will be a thunderstorm.
In the same manner, for thousands of years, there were star gazers and they wrote down the correlations between what happend in the sky and earth. If each time a star appeared that coincided with death of a king, war or natural disasters, they would conclude that that particual star would bring that particular types of events.
The answer is that yes, the roots of astrology are more scientific than even astrologers claim it is. Even today, astrologers look at planets, transits, aspects, interatctions with our charts and deduce what they can bring in our lives. And that is scientific method.
As to what was first, the myth or astrology, is a question of the chicken and the egg. Astrologers saw stars and planets as celestial divine forces. Maybe they were right. There is a subtle mechanism driving human evolution from what is visible and kind of comprehensible to us after all. Both mechanical and spiritual at once.
